Welcome to Femme and Polished! My name is Samantha and I’m so happy you’re here. I’m going to share a little about the blog and my hopes for you, the reader.

First off a brief intro: I’m Samantha! I’m a 23 year old fashion lover, blogger, and creative, from South Carolina. I started Femme and Polished to create a space for other twenty-somethings to navigate finding their identity, fashion, and living a healthy life. What I’ve been learning as I navigate this time in my life is that there is an endless supply of opinions and expectations for how you should show up in this world. It can all be so overwhelming. This is why I created Femme and Polished, to encourage other young people to have fun and express themselves through fashion. I believe that experimenting with style and personal exploration is key to discovering who you are and how you want to show up. 

This is a mood board I created when I first started brainstorming the blog.

Femme and Polished has one mission, which is to inspire others to live their most authentic and happy lives through personal expression of fashion. My hope for the reader is that you feel empowered to explore your own individual style. In a world where everyone has an opinion on what you SHOULD be wearing and doing, I hope you feel empowered to decide for yourself. Ultimately, I believe that fashion is meant to be fun and fluid. I hope that by reading you are inspired to be creative, and to live your most true and authentic life.
